Kind of like the NHL play-offs..........All things are NEW, well , for 16 teams not including the Oilers, that is.........ahahahahahahahahahaha
Do I think my team (Flames) are the best.......Not necessarily......but I do know 2 things; ONE; they're in the big dance and they have as good a chance as anyone, and TWO; While they may not be the best, they are better than the Oil.
For opinions other than mine or yours, however, please check out the newspapers, radio, and TV, whom all said that the Flames "shut it down" after learning they were officially in after the 'Lanche were defeated Saturday night. (And according to John's theology, with 5 starters out during game 82, the Flames were simply thinking, "let's get throught this without getting hurt").
And yes, Iggy was invisible against Edmonton....almost as invisible as the "dangler" himself Hemsky, who ended his brilliant season with an unimpressive total of 13 goals!!! Wait, let me say it for you John, "But he was injured". Yes, but so was Iginla and he scored 39 in roughly the same number of games.
Sorry for the hockey Blog, but all is "NEW" so thought it ralted, and besides, my wife conveniently deleted your last email so I could not respond.
However, I promise this is the last hockey blog, email or comment you will receive. After all we have more important things to talk about. GO FLAMES, and good work on the Easter lessons, quite interesting and educational. Quite the scholar, I am impressed!
